Sometimes we don't know where to go to get the answers to our personal healthcare questions - which employer sponsored health insurance should I choose? Is this the best surgeon for my dad? Why is it such a struggle to get the medication my kids need?
I started my post-college career in pharmaceutical sales. There I learned the inner workings of why certain drugs are prescribed. From there I took a turn in health insurance and specifically, employer benefits. I have worked through your company's HR teams for the past 12 years.
Growing up with a mom as a physician I learned about healthcare from an early age. Working in her practice taught me all about the provider side of healthcare. Now as a mom and a member of the sandwich generation I am uncovering the frustrations of managing someone I deeply care for's health.
I have every advantage in the world - being of a certain race, socioeconomic level, educational background and deep industry knowledge and this is STILL hard. My passion revolves around simplifying the healthcare process for you and your loved ones as well.
